Utility Maintenance Mechanic I As a condition of employment all employees must pass a post offer criminal history

background check, physical examination and drug screen. All employees must also submit proof of identity and employment

eligibility. The Utility Maintenance Mechanic I is the first step of a three-step Utility Maintenance Mechanic Series.

The Utility Maintenance Mechanic I assist higher level workers and is distinguished by entry level experience with

maintenance, operation, repair work of pump stations, flood pump stations and treatment facilities. Work is performed

after receiving technical direction and assigned task(s) by the Utility Maintenance Mechanic III, supervisor and/or
