Traffic Maintenance Technician Clay County is seeking a skilled Traffic Maintenance Technician. This critical role is

responsible for the full lifecycle of road signage—from design and fabrication to installation—while providing vital

support for subdivision inspections, right-of-way permits, and GIS infrastructure mapping. You will serve as a key

technical resource for the County, ensuring roadway safety and regulatory compliance through expert field work and

administrative coordination. Primary Responsibilities: Signage Management: Fabricate, install, and maintain regulatory,

warning, and street signs/posts. Ensure all signage conforms to MUTCD standards. Maintain inventory levels and manage
