Substitute Bus Driver

About the Role

Student Transportation Driver Safely operates student transportation vehicle in a safe and careful manner, transferring

students to and from school, school activities, and provide shuttle services as assigned. Drivers are responsible

directly to the Assistant Superintendent in cooperation with the district's bus mechanic/director. Drivers will be

responsible for following all transportation laws, rules and regulations, district policies and procedures, and bus

discipline consequences. Drivers assume major responsibility for the safety of children on the bus conforming to safety

regulations. Driver shall be required to complete a daily pre and post trip inspection of the bus and turn those forms
