Substitute Bus Driver

About the Role

Bus Driver To provide safe and efficient transportation to students. An individual who holds this position is

responsible for: Transporting students over specified routes according to an established time schedule. Obeying all

traffic laws. Observing all mandatory safety regulations for school buses as prescribed by state, federal and district

policies. Maintaining discipline when students are on the bus. Reporting undisciplined students to the proper authority.

Keeping assigned bus clean. Pre-trips and post-trips the bus according to state/district procedures. Notifying the

proper authority in case of mechanical failure or lateness. Discharging students only at authorized stops. Transporting
