About the Role

Substitute Bus Driver To provide safe and effective transportation of students or special clients, such as persons with

disabilities, to and from Hillsboro R-3 School District, in a timely manner. Safely transports students to and from

school and/or field trips on the approved route at the approved times. Accurately records and maintains logs of bus

inspections, mileage sheets, mechanical repair orders, student state count reports, and field trips in a timely fashion.

Checks and reports to the supervisor any mechanical problems with the vehicle's tires, brakes, windshield wipers,

lights, oil, fuel, water, and safety equipment. Sweeps, mops, scrubs and disinfects vehicles daily ensuring a clean,
