Road Maintenance Worker
About the Role
Overview Under general supervision performs work of moderate difficulty inspecting installation, repair, and abandonment
of utility lines, services and sanitary sewer laterals on both public and private property for conformity to City
construction codes and specifications; and performs related work as required. Responsibilities In accordance with both
State and local law, assures that nuisances caused from the failure of water services and sewer laterals are corrected:
issues proper notice; educates the homeowner with respect to responsibilities, procedures, and options; advises
concerning the hiring of contractors to perform the work and the inspection of the work; prepares the council documents
