CNC Cutting Operator CNC Cutting Operator Responsibilities Reviews 2D & 3D CAD design blueprints Programs 3 axis CNC
plasma and laser cutting table utilizing Hypertherm's Pronest offline programming software Performs a variety of duties
including grinding, de burring, cleaning of parts, cutting and removal of scrap Selects correct cutting tips and other
attachments Checks geometric layout of flat patterns provided by engineering department to insure accurate part
production Determines sequence of operations in a program Operates overhead cranes to move materials and parts as needed
Education & Training Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years related experience preferred (Some college
