About the Role

School Bus Driver This position is primarily responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation so that

students may enjoy the fullest advantage of the district's curriculum and extra-curricular activities. Responsibilities:

Drives a school bus along designated route; picks up and discharges students in accordance with time schedules; observes

legal and defensive driving practices; assures compliance with applicable traffic and student transportation laws, codes

and regulations Maintains order and discipline among passengers on the bus in accordance with district policies related

to disciplining students; prepares related reports as necessary. Determines appropriate action in emergency situations
