Bus Driver

About the Role

Bus Driver The bus driver is responsible for transporting students safely and efficiently over specified routes

according to a time schedule, and driving activity trips as assigned. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

Adheres to all federal, state, and district rules, policies and regulations. Obeys all traffic laws and reports to the

Supervisor any citations received in a school bus or personal vehicle. Performs a daily pre-trip inspection on the bus

and reports any defective items. Follows assigned route. Any changes in direction or stops must be approved in advance

by the Supervisor. Maintains student discipline and control and completes required discipline reports when necessary.
