About the Role
Join a dedicated healthcare food service team in the heart of the Midwest region, where your culinary skills will
support patient care and staff nourishment. As an Assistant Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing both hot and
cold foods by following standardized recipes and strict HACCP safety guidelines. Key Responsibilities Review menus and
production sheets to accurately determine food quantities needed for preparation. Prepare and organize food production
to meet serving deadlines efficiently. Communicate promptly with supervisors regarding equipment issues, food shortages,
or preparation errors to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Serve and portion food on tray lines and maintain cafeteria
